Costs of full-body laser for men NYC

Hi,

I know that the question of costs has come up frequently but I have not seen an answer to my question. Does anybody has ANY estimation of what full body hair removal for men would cost in a venerable center in NYC? (I was thinking Romeo or Nurse)
I am a hairy individual with fairly white skin and dark coarse hair. I read somewhere that a guy got a quote that completely overwhelmed him, but he never mentioned what it was. I was just wondering what area it could be in, just to know if I am not completely wasting my time.

Thanks!
L

It could be anywhere from $5 to $10K. However, we really recommend you to assess every single area you want to treat. It’s rare that people have enough COARSE DENSE hair on all the areas they want to treat for the full body treatment to be worth it. Also, we recommend for you to start with one area before committing to such a big investment.

Judging from the rates that I have seen in my area, $5,000 would be too low a quote, unless one were talking about one treatment of the whole body. Certainly not a package to work the whole body to completion. (what ever that would be defined as)

I know people who have paid that much for their face alone in LASER and still needed electrolysis to “finish the job” when the LASER hours were all used up.

I was thiking more like $20,000, but who can know for sure because of so many variables involved with hair removal or hair laser hair reduction. Have we had anyone report back costs of full body work here on hairtell? Even if we did, one thing is always constant and can be summed up with this, “You are not him/her”. Every hair case is as different as ones thumbprint.

I definitely would not recommend anyone to do a FULL BODY treatment at once, as hairs are different in various parts of the body and some hairs may not be advisable for laser treatment. Also, from my experience, not all lasers are created equal. Therefore, one should start with an area and continue with another area down the road. This way, you are not stuck with getting treatments in one facility but trying different places as well.

I am totally against the notion of pushing customers to do FULL BODY, as in most cases, it is not needed.

The term “ FULL BODY “ is subject to interpretation by each facility. Some centers give one price for everything, some centers put a time limit on the treatment, some centers give you one price but want you to come in when they want you to come in, some centers use inferior devices , some centers change their pricing and treatment protocols on a daily basis. The fact is that once you pay your package, you are at the Center’s mercy. If you are not going to get good results or service, even a dollar spent would be too much.

My recommendation, therefore, is that you do your research , check various centers and make sure that you are comparing apples to apples. Selling a package, signing up for a plan and making promises is easy. Achieving permanent results is another story…
