Out of interest, I was wondering how much a brand new cynosure alexandrite laser would cost in pounds and not dollars. What would be the price range.
I get an e-mail or two almost everyday offering a variety of used lasers for sale. I will look at these e-mails closer and see what the prices are listed. I know you said “new”, but maybe you this information would be helpful, too.

as new.
…or about 90,000 US DOLLARS . I was seeing prices of $130,000, Chris. Much better!
…but why by that, when so many companies are selling allegedly perfectly working models for between $300 and $3,000? Why spend all that extra money?
Just like you don’t need to pay for a controlled demolition to bring down a high rise, when a simple fire will do the job. 
I was just wondering what the cost of a new machine was because I went for a consultation/patch test and asked out of interest how much one of these machines would cost. There were two lasers in the room. She said about £160,000. The machine in question was a Cynosure (not to sure what model) with a 15mm spot size which blasts cold air onto the area after its zapped and treats large areas very quickly.
