Cool glide yag setting

So I finally got my information on my settings for both laser sessions I had 10mm spot size with cutera yag laser pulse width was15ms for one and 10ms for the second and 40 joules and 45 joules consecutively how permanent or temporary can this be ? It seemed to work dangerously well on my dark hair that never really grew back but my thin hair got darker I can get electroylsis for the darker thin hair but the coarse hair that I thought I was just reducing never came back i know la girl said to wait a year at best but I hate the uncertainty can anybody give me a clear answer based on experience…It’s been 6 months and minimal regrowth

Also I read 10 mm spit size is Not as effective compared to12mm or more is m hoping the hair is just stunted for like a year or so

-Do you have another thread here from when you first got treated? You didn’t mention what area you had treated.

-What do you mean by “dangerously well?” Did you have adverse side effects?

-The settings were good.

-Yes, bigger is better with spot size. That doesn’t mean you can’t get results at 10 mm, however.

-You know the answer to this: Nobody can predict how permanent your results will be. If you’ve gone 6 months with minimal growth since your final treatment, I’d say that’s a good sign.

-Check out the sticky where others have related their success stories.

PS. Not to be rude, but it’s hard to follow your run-on sentences. Please try to be as succinct as possible.

The settings were good but in the area of question in which I only wanted it slightly reduced ie hairline it got completely removed with 0 regrowth as per my understanding it was only supposed to reduce 10-30% in any given session how permanent are these effects? The doc said to wait a 2 years period with high chance they will regenerate as it takes multiple treatments for permanent removal? Do I trust this?

Those are decent settings. So it’s likely permanent, though only for the hair in that cycle that you treated.

That’s weird cuz I guess all was active? Nothing grew back

A couple of strands here and there

If you waxed or plucked prior, that’s a possibility.

well thats strange my experience defied everything then, nothing grew back meaning everything was in active growth phase? thats highly unlikely, so these studies are not very useful the hair growth cycles and laser killing only hair that is active and killing only a certain percent at a time doesn’t really agree…with what happened to me so doesn’t make sense. any hoo i wish everybody good results!
