comparing two visits

first i have had four laser treatments on my face. im a male trying to remove full face hair. i feel like the laser made my hair grey as i never noticed it till after treatment. so now im doing electrolysis. my first appoinment they have a integratron pain was not much, small shock. hairs came out easily without pain.

visit another one in town to see difference, second one had clareblend. also had to hold round part of machine in hand during this one. ok this second one was very painfull and also hairs coming out very painfull. she kept saying i drank too much coffee. i dont drink coffee and didnt have any soda that day. then she said it was because i didnt have any antegens in my hairs. then was saying i wasnt in proper growth faze, which that didnt make sence cause if i wasnt why didnt she say come back another day we are wasting our time.

so was it the machines making the diference or was something she was saying make sence or was it the operator. one had 20 years exper, second had 15 years exper.

It is possible not to notice gray or lighter hair after laser has removed a large percentage of the dark, coarse hair. It may have always been there.

First appointment question - what do you mean by intergraton pain?? Are you referring to a certain professional epilator?

Operator skill determines much as far as sensation and success goes. The epilator choice rates very close to that. Better tools assist the skilled electrologist toward giving you a better treatment in regard to sensation and skin outcome. Better tools allow the electrologist to work longer because she is comfortable and she will not fatigue as easily.

First treatments can have many telogen hairs that offer some resistance when they are treated. We like nice ANAGEN hairs because they are in the growth PHASE. They are moist hairs and electrolysis needs moisture in the follicle for a good treatment. So, what she said makes SENSE, but I would still sample some other electrologists if you are in a position to do so. Years of experience is good, but that alone does not mean you are in the best of hands. Clareblend is a highly respected professional epilator, but the newer technology offered by the upper models of Apilus, Silhouet-Tone VMC and even the Clareblends Elegance models would be worth comparing with the older Clareblend model. All epilators can remove hair permanently, so remember, it is SKILL that matters most.

Thanks and Good Luck!

Hi:

You are talking about two different machines and two different operators. Maybe the second one used higher settings?

If you preferred the treatment with the first one then maybe you should just stick with them.

It is true that things like being dehydrated could affect someone sensitivity somewhat, but you would have to compare sessions with the same operator and machine from one day to another. They ususally keep records of what settings they use on which people. If I am feeling some pain from treatment levels its important to let the operator know so they can adjust the setting down a little if that is possible while still getting an adequate level of treatment.

yes i was talking about machines. first said it was a integratron. second a clareblend.

the clareblend i had to hold a round pc with wire going to machine, she said it completely electric circuit in my body.

first machine i didnt hold anything.

i first went to compare speeds of two. they seem the same only got about 1 and 1/2 inch on each side of my face for a hour visit.

but pain was such a difference and the fact i didnt feel hairs coming out on first treatment but did on second. there is one more place i can try but they are a lot more expensive as they are a full clinic doing several things and woman claims to be well known in industry. the first two only do electrolysis.

i called this third place and they said they have many women who do procedure at their location so couldnt tell me about persons experience till they knew which one i was going to have appointment with, this is why i didnt make appointment thinking i would go and get someone just out of school. paying high prices for someone that was slow.

i would shave regular but stop 2 days before appointment, so see hair growing out,so wouldnt they be in growing faze?
