Clinic reccomendations in Scotland

Hi everyone it has been many years since I have been on the forum and was wondering if anyone has personal experience with clinics in Scotland. I did search but the thread that came up was now out of date as 6 years old now.

I have very pale skin, very dark hair. I know how to find clinics but wondered more about consumer experience.

I have had laser treatment on my stomach as I had a dark line of hair their and it was very succesful in significantly reducing the hair. I dont know what type of laser was used but I had my treatment at SKN-Glasgow at the time (a few years ago) it cost £49 per session I believe it has gone up now.

I am looking in to having my upper lip done and underarms and the reason I am not just going back to the same clinic is I felt it odd that sometimes you would get so many shots of the laser and other times way less. One treatment I think I had say 60 and another 85 I felt this was very inconsistent and when I complained I was given a complimentary session with the girl who had given me one of my shortest sessions and the complimentary one lasted about 15 clicks so I thought no Im not going back there again.

Any advice would be great thanks

As far as I remember, no one from Scotland has posted here. However, it shouldn’t deter you. Read our FAQs at the link below and read the other link about how to find a good clinic. Most of us found a clinic by doing our own research.

The hair needs to be coarse in addition to being dark. Underarms should be good for laser, but upper lip may require electrolysis instead.
