Has anyone heard of Cleopatra’s secret - is it the same as nads? I’ve never used anything but a razor and fortunately never had a problem - does waxing cause more problems than it’s worth - ie, ‘ingrowns’. I’ve seen these mentioned frequently on this site, what exactly are they?
Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question, but I’m a complete novice to all of this and only came across the site whilst researching american products for hair removal, I didn’t realise that there were so many!
Cleopatra’s Secret is a brand of sugaring, with a different consistency that Nad’s.
Waxing and sugaring can cause ingrowns in those more prone to them, especially if the consumer doesn’t exfoliate and moisturize the treated area between treatments. If you don’t get ingrowns shaving, you are less likely to get them from waxing or sugaring that someone who gets them shaving.
