Hi, i have recently bought clareblend essence for my endeavour as a diy.I have tried its autoblend settings which is 1milliampere galvanic 45 volt rf and 8 seconds time but its taking me twice the time to take out course hair as a result big scabs are formed .I am little curious that whether 45 volt rf is too much for blend.and how can i gauge the appropriate settings without making big scabs.

Tell me about these scabs. Are they red/dark …or “honey colored” ?
I going to preface this by saying , I dont know this epilator at all, but some things hold true regardless of epilator.
I think 1 Ma is a little high for galvanic.I generally dont go above 0.65 or 0.7. In fact , my personal machine maxes out at 1 millamp.
The clssic DIY mistake, is too high an intensity, for too long.At 1 ma , I hope it’s not for longer than a few seconds honestly.What you may not realize however, is that honey coloured scabs after galvanic is actually a normal sign of healing. If they are large however, you may want to cut back on the galvanic current or timing ( or both). You still use increased timing to get a good release, but if it’s too long you will have larger scabs, and the answer isnt in that case likely longer timing or intensity, but more accurate insertions.
Thanks for the information, the scabs are dark colored and some of it fell off and the skin there is red.I have tried 0.6 with 40 volt rf ,15 seconds timing on 60 unit hair there is still some resistance on them.i am curious about rf that whether 40 volt is too much.And can u tell me that how much maximum time you spend one one hair with your settings?
Years ago, I worked with Marge Smith (Clareblend) designing her first blend unit … and what you have is a more recent version of that same unit. The 40p-p Volt RF is your lowest setting … and using 0.6 DC is too high for such a low RF setting.

Start there, and then call Clareblend and get their MANUAL for your unit … they have the manual in PDF so you can just download it … get the proper settings … you are working WAY off! Don’t use the “autoblend” at all! Nonsense!

i am confused at which intensity rf gets higher.
higher number = higher HF
Get in touch with Clareblend Inc., and get the manual from them … and read it carefully. It’s going to take you a lot of “trial and error” and mostly “error.”
It’s like this: You just bought a new car but don’t know how to drive it. Right now you are only trying to find out how to start the thing. You have a TON of learning ahead.
You are not going to learn how to do electrolysis properly by “bits and pieces” people suggest here on this, or any, website.

Michaels mini-ebook is a good start, but I think you should pick up a copy of Electrolysis Thermolysis and the blend by hinkel and Lind as well you can usually find it used on amazon for $30 or so. You’ll want to learn about the relationship between timing and intensity and the effect each have on the heating pattern. I also think you should be using an insulated needle if you arent already.
You need to walk before you learn to run. Please dont start with your face. Let a leg or arm be the first hair you remove.
Every machine is different, but if you go through the hinkel book you’ll learn how to with a manually controlled machine ( which the clairblend is I believe) test for tolerance, and determine appropriate energy levels and about the effect different timings and intensities can have on heating pattern. You may want to consider letting HF do most of the heavy lifting and clean up with a DC aftercount but that wont even mean anything unless you do some study first.
