Clareblend essence

Hello. I am looking to graduate from my one touch machine and move up to something faster. I’m working on thinning out my stomach/arms. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Clareblend essence epilator? I see some information on their old ultrablend machines but not much on their new digital machines. I’m looking for something simple that does all 3 modes, I will probably be using blend mostly.

Also, I see the uni-probe autoblend new is about the same price as a used essence. Does anyone know if these are good machines as well? I can’t seem to find a legit website on the manufacturer.

It looks like apilus machines are easily the most popular on here but to stay in the same price range I would have to get an older one like the original junior. It seems like there would have been some advances since then. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

An epilator is more a matter of personal preference. What features do you want? What blend technique are you most familiar with? If you are working on yourself, I recommmend you consider a computerized machine without foot pedals. I believe the Clareblend machines are foot pedal only, but I could be wrong.

[color:#3333FF]Hey Robteam70,

If I had a house fire, probably started by having too many candles, and I had to get another machine, and I only had about $300 to $400 dollars, I’d get either a Silhouet-Tone Servo-Blend Sequential Programme, or a Silhouet-Tone Sequentium 328 (which is step above the former). And, I would look on Canadian sites for available units. These machines are built like tanks, have good automated features for their years, and are easy to get replacement handpieces and footpedals. Being able to get replacement handpieces is important, because you will have to do it occasionally.

The truth is, when I was buying at about your stage, I researched it as thoroughly as I could, and I considered everything under a thousand dollars. Those two machines will not disappoint you at such a low price.

I am doing it on myself. Im still an amateur so the only thing im familiar with is the one touch galvanic which is difficult since the auto sense goes off a bit too soon sometimes so im used to not touching the metal band until the wire is in the follicle.

I think you are right about only having foot pedals on the essence. It sounds like auto sense can be pretty useful once you get a good technique and adjust the delay. Do you know if the junior plus has auto sense?

Thanks a lot mantaray i will look into those. Ive mostly only looked on ebay and texas electrology so far. Do you know of any canadian sites in particular i should look at?

I have a Gentronics digital, MC160D, and would be glad to sell it to anyone that is interested for $700 plus shipping. Multiple needle rack for galvanic electrolysis, microflash thermolysis, auto sensor , air desenitizer. Private message me if interested.

Mmmmm Gentronics. if I wasn’t so strapped for cash right now I’d take you up on that offer!

On a side note, I have epilators for sale too. My Gentronics MC160A and my SB-2, both are non-digital.
