Chosing an electrologist in England.

Hello. I apologise if this is something which is already covered as a topic. I’m trying to find an electrologist in the West Yorkshire area (I’m close to Leeds), although I don’t mind travelling a bit.

I’d like to research into the place before I got to visit but it’s proving difficult. I’m not rushing into the process because from reading up on this site I know how important it is to find the right person. All I’m really finding online are clinics that specialise in laser but also offer electrolysis (and they look lovely and posh, but they give plenty of info on laser hair removal and don’t say much about electrolysis treatments.)

I’ve found the British Electrolysis Association website. Do you think I’m best calling someone up from there. Ideally I’d like someone who specialises in electrolysis only. Or if anyone has any recommendations that’d be super :slight_smile:

hey dear,i would recommended newton clinic,also a biae member.she has the aplius platinum, uses insulated probe too, and can go for as long as you want to achieve full clearance.She been practising for over 25years years.I started my electrolysis last year june and right now am almost 60% reduction.My hair facial,chin hair was induced by laser.she stays in liverpool.

Thank you for your reply Mam91 :slight_smile: Personal opinions from other people are like gold dust to me. I just don’t think I’ll have a ‘gut feeling’ when it comes to deciding if I should or shouldn’t chose a particular clinic as I’m am totally new to this.

Hello Tessa-Lou,
“Dolly” on here is also a specialist and Platinum user. I don’t know how close she would be but another recommendation anyway.
Mairi (ditto) is in Oban and I am in the Borders (I am merely a Senior 2 user but also a specialist)

Thanks for your reply Cherrytree :slight_smile: You have a great website and I really appreciate your recommendations. Scotland is a wee bit too far for me to travel, which is really disappointing because I’d have be so lucky to have been looked after by you or Mairi.
