Can you use EMLA and take a painkiller as well?

Is it okay to use EMLA and also take some paracetamol? Or is that a big no no.

I would strongly advise you NOT combine multiple drugs. It presents a toxic strain to your liver as your body attempts to metabolize both these substances.

FYI, paracetamol is the same drug as acetominophen or Tylenol.

Finally, as Dee mentioned, none of us here are doctors or pharmacists/chemists. Talk to the pharmacist who supplied your EMLA for more qualified information.
