Can you Epilate after LHR?

Now that I am 7 months (nearly) post LHR course of treatments to my legs, feet and bikini area (I am very pleased with the results) I was wondering - can you epilate those very fine and light coloured hairs which remain or is that a definite no-no?

If you epilate after LHR does it cause those hairs to thicken and darken as they grow back or would it cause them to be even finer or kill them all together.

What about the ingrown hair possibility? I used to get a lot of those before my LHR and since then I hardly get any now.

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere in this wonderful site but I just can’t seem to find an answer.

You can do whatever you want, but pulling hair out with the root may cause it to become stronger and more prominent later. Epilating causes ingrowns for a lot of people. I personally wouldn’t recommend it.

Is shaving a problem? That should be easy now that there are few hairs and there are finer. Waxing would be my second choice.

Thanks very much LAGirl,
I wasn’t sure and so I didn’t want to take any chances. You are right, I only have to shave around every 1.5 to 2 weeks now and so it’s not a problem. I was just wondering if I epilated whether it would reduce even further the amount of fine downy hair which now grows and whether the frequency of those hairs growing could be reduced too. I am not prepared to take the chance of ingrowns coming back nor a possible increase in hair density again.
Thanks once again for responding to my question.
