hi guys
i have been thinking of having a laser hair removal on my upper arms.really i just want to reduce them 60%.do you think laser will help me for this?i have read somewhere that there is a probability that more hair will come out.is this real?i dont want to make my problem bigger so i want to be carefull.
what about if i do it and i am successful, will this reducement of hair be uniform in every part of my upper arm.i dont want to think that in a part i will have less growth and in a part more.
everybody says that electrolysis is better for this part but electrolysis is very time consuming.i dont have that time.
please give me some help.
The upper arms can be a concern for laser hair stimulaton, but who knows, it may not happen to you. You may have patchiness, but if you do, then good old steady friend electrolysis can even things up, even though you don’t have time for electrolysis. Can you clarify what you think “very time consuming” means for you?
Did you know that there are many modern electrologists that can remove hair at a nice pace using the faster forms of thermolysis on a computerized epilator. I would get laser and go as far as possible with that. If you are not totally pleased, then you have to switch to electroysis whether you like it or not, but do so only with a modern electrologist who can treat individual hairs at less than a second per hair. You will get impatient with blend and the slower form of thermolysis that take anywhere from 1-20 seconds per hair.
[size:20pt]OR[/size]… a fast electrologist can just do it all and you can forget the laser part.
Both modalities will take about 1-1.5 years to complete. Electrolysis means more appointments and more time on the table, but it is assured permanent hair removal. Those are your choices as I see it.

What type of hair do you have on your upper arms? Unless it’s VERY DARK, VERY COARSE, and VERY DENSE, do not do laser because this area often gets induced growth on anything other than that perfect combination. If that’s not what you have, you need electrolysis.
