9 months ago I had the first electrolysis procedure on my arms. Before that I had been pulling out my hair with an epilator for 10 years. I read on this forum that after many years of hair removal from the root, the follicles become damaged and curved which leads to scarring and holes on skin. So, my skin healed for a very long time and was all with “craters”. Only in the last 2 months the skin texture has evened out, but there are still red spots and pimples on it.
Could you tell me please, can I go for a second procedure next month or it may worsen the situation and it’s better to wait until the skin will improve?
9 months has already passed, and I don’t know if there’s gonna be any improvements. In the attached photo you can see how the arms look now.

It sounds like your skin has healed well! I’m no expert but I wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at it today that anything had happened previously :3
I didn’t use it for as long as you (just 2 years) but I’m also getting electrolysis in an area that I used a rotary epilator on for a long time; my sessions have been just 1 week apart to work on clearing it and I haven’t noticed anything negative thus far with the skin! And ofc the skin will keep healing after electrolysis too ^^
Your skin will be fine after you stop this temporary method. get electrolysis to secure a brighter future without hair on your arms.
