I was just wondering if its ok to bleach my brows inbetween treatments? My electrologist will be going on vacation after my next session so it will be a couple of weeks that I’ll have to let my hair grow. I don’t wanna look awful so I was just wondering if there’s anything I could do inbetween?
I don’t see how it would be a problem at all.
You can also trim or shave the unwanted hairs and stop some days before you’re due to see your electrologist so they are long enough for her to treat.
I am in agreement with stoppit. Any of those temporary measures would be just fine. Bleach near the eyes gives me pause.
What about depilatory creams?
…Not for around the eyes. I’m wondering if it’s ok to use above lips/sides.
Personally I would not put that stuff on the delicate skin of the face. But I know some people that do. I imagine with regular use it’s going to make the skin dark and generally damage it.
I am okay with my clients bleaching in between treatments. Soon, they will not have to do anything as we catch up with the hair growth, however, your original question was about bleaching your eyebrows? Correct?

Yes. My electrologist is on vacation. So far I’m toughing it out. If I really have to do my brows I think I will try shaving them first. If it doesn’t work then I’ll bleach instead. 8 days left til she’s back and I’m already hairy. If I had the money I’d go twice a week instead of once.
It’s not a good idea to use bleach near your eyes. Other places are fine though, like the lips and the sides of your face.
