You will see NEW growth that was not there when the first, full clearance was done and you will see some REGROWTH perhaps from hairs that were treated. How much is dependent on many things. It is best not to focus on “how much” but rather, just keep to a schedule so that whatever hair presents itself in the next group, gets treated. Over 9-18 months, you will need less hair treated with appointments farther apart. That alone will tell you, that something very good is happening (permanent hair removal).

Please give your electrologist a fair chance. If you see someone for four treatments, you haven’t given her a chance. You will know things are looking better by month 4- 6. Take before pictures and then retake every couple months to compare. You can get a couple of consults to see who you are comfortable with, but thereafter, stick with one person for at least a year.
