I am pleased to announce that with a proposed opening date of March 1 2017 I am opening my own suite of offices here in Ottawa. Lots of exciting news to come for sure!

I need your help! I’m busily developing my web site and scheduling system, but I dont have a business name yet and I’m open to suggestions!
I’ll be located on Wellington Street West in Hintonburg area of ottawa , a trendy area where the old offices I worked from was also located.Some of the suggestions so far:

Electrolysis By Seana
Hintonburg Electrolysis
Wellington West Electrolysis
Faces Electrolysis
Transitions Electrolysis
Awesome Sauce Electrolysis ( This one comes back to a post by me here with a little goodle searching)

I’d like to get everyones opinion, as I need to register my name and domain fairly soon.

As part of this I will be offering some reduced rate electrolysis for the local transgendered community on a limited basis.
Additionally, I have enough room in my offices for clients to board, making mass electrolysis sessions a possibility as well.

Congratulations Seana, I’m not very good coming up with ideas for business names, but what if you put the name of the area/location you’re in into it? … When people first go looking for electrolysis they usually Google " electrolysis" and the area they live… That way your site may come up first in Google search/results.

“Electrolysis by Seana” is the best name among those listed. It lets the consumer know who you are and that you offer electrolysis services. It’s simple, to the point, and very descriptive. “Seana’s Electrolysis” would be my second choice. Good luck to you in this new endeavor.

yes, wellington west electrolysis and hintenburg electrolysis re both location based names.

Location names might be problematic should you decide to move to another location in the future.

had to make a business decision. cards to print and all that stuff. Electrolysis By Seana had the most google association so decision made. Clients already asking where they can book. Today has been an exhausting amount of work!

My New Offices are going to be at 1241 Wellington Street West Ottawa. I have heaps more space than I need for just me. This means I do have the needed space to provide accomodations for mass sessions .Its something I’m considering.Website links wont work for a couple of days until I build it.

Good luck…

I’m not sure where the laws are where you live, but be careful with boarding. You may find yourself subject to different taxation (in my state in the US, there’s an additional tax for short term stays), eviction issues (accidentally let someone stay long enough and they may be considered a tenant even if they aren’t paying), etc, not to mention your commercial insurance policy may not cover people staying on site.

Thats a thought, though rooming house rules are very different here in canada.
new website launched at electrolysisbyseana.com and I’ve already got a bunch of my clients booking already on our automated scheduling system.
Turns out I’m launching today.Well tuesday anyway.No time to talk, too busy painting, buying towels, ordering probes, getting busiess cards, calling the locksmith and all of that.

Having the ability to schedule appointments online is very useful and a convenient tool. We’ve all been there when we try to setup an appointment but your electrologist can’t answer the phone and when they return your call, you can’t answer either.

I’ve used the same system for a while, and yes, its extremely convenient.I never have to answer the phone to make an appointment . clients choose their slot from my available posted hours and it sends them a confirmation emiail, and a reminder email or text if they choose.

If I had to answer the phone for a client to make an appointment with me I’d have to charge a lot more for electrolysis to make up for all the lost time.
