Please help. I’ve gotten electrolysis’s done for 3-4 on my hair but i have many of these “under the skin bumps” that have been there for over two years now. Does anybody know what they are and how they can be treated? I hate my skin and i have stoped electrolysis
I have some ideas, but it’s difficult to say with any certainty. It could easily be unrelated to your electrolysis. In any case, after two years, it’s well past the time to make an appointment with a medical professional to address this issue. A dermatologist is ideal if you can.
It could be ingrown hairs but difficult to tell for sure.
I’ll be honest and say, in all likelihood these are acne. They could also be ingrown hairs but I think tht somewhat less likely.
But they can’t be extracted, even when someone tries nothing comes out other than blood. I’ve tried tret i’ve been on spironolactone for 6 months and no change. Nothing seems to be helping which is why i thought it wasn’t acne
Have you been squeezing the bumps to try to help it along?
If so please stop and let the it try to heal on it’s own.
If there are ingrown hairs present the body will try to push them to the surface. This process can take months.
You may need an acne cleanser to use daily or some type of medication to promote healing.
I agree with Thermo and see a Dermatologist asap.
