Building own unit: epilator question

I want to build the unit described at hairfreethere. While attempting to order the stylus, three fields have to be filled: connector type (I chose banana plug), size (I chose regular), and Epilator (I don’t know what to type in here).
What do I fill in for the epilator option?

I am looking for epilators that might use a banana plug. Possibly the hinkel UC2 or the Biomak Epilator - By Uni-Probe will meet that need. Most modern epilators use at least a BNC connector because they also carry RF frequencies.

That’s something I need to know too. I don’t know if it matters though. I sent them an email but they won’t reply so I’m not sure I should order there at all. Does anyone know of another shop that sells those Uniprobe units ?

A list of uni-probe distributors can be found at http://www.uniprobe.com/distributors.shtml

I found a list of connectors and which epilators use them.

Connector: BNC
Epilator Types: UP AutoBlend, Fischer, Instantron, Clareblend, Hinkel, Gentronics, Silhouet-Tone, Berkowitz, Proteus, Sterex (new), Tapeography, CTI, others

Connector: BANANA
Epilator Types: Hoffman, Sterex (old), Carlton, Du-Lac, Kree

Connector: Ta3F
Epilator Types: Dectro, Apilus

Connector: RCA
Epilator Types: ElectroKnoll

Connector: SMA
Epilator Types: Kree

Connector: s101
Epilator Types: Proteus-Joule

Connector: MINI
Epilator Types: Sudonna, Ferrie

thanks for the list. I already ordered the uniprobe with the banana plug. I don’t think it matters what epilator you put there, I put self made in that form field.

I would just like to add the following to the above.
The Apilus Platinum cables are SMA rather than the TA3F’s that are used on their other epilators.
