Brazilian/Pubic Laser Hair Removal

I want to remove all pubic hair permanently. Front to back, side to side, inner lips, out lips, and in my bum area. I know that laser hair removal can provide reduction in hair however I am looking for complete PERMANENT removal. Should I start with laser hair removal and then when I see results have peaked move on to electrolysis or should I go straight for electrolysis? Obviously, I would rather not spend a ton of money on laser only to be disappointed in results if I could go straight into electrolysis. What are your thoughts on this?

I started this whole hair removal thing by waxing, I liked the way i looked/felt without the hair so I decided to go for permanent removal and started with electrolosis. After about six months, I could see some removal but with the time and money I had put into it didn’t seem like the results were where I would have liked to see them.

Recently I started laser and so far I am impressed. I am sure there is going to be some follow up with electrolosis when I am finished with the laser but I do think it will be less expensive and quicker to start with laser. It may be different if you were doing only a small area, but you are not, nor am I.

I’ve had about a dozen treatments with IPL. minimal pin , somewhat slow progress. Had first treatment with alexandrite laser about 2 months ago. excellent results and less pain than IPL. I’m doing full brazilian, abdomen, chest and armpits. I’m very pleased with the results. I had to shop around to find a good price.

I wish I had started with alexandrite treatments; I would have saved a lot of money.

The clean feel and look is worth the effort and expense.

Wow, thanks for the advice!

My advice is to start with Alex laser (if suitable for your skin type/color) and then graduate to electrolysis. The trick with laser hair removal is finding a facility that knows what they are doing and using high enough settings. If settings are adequate you will get permanent hair removal (my experience). Once hairs get fine and sparse laser will be much less effective and that’s when electrolysis comes into play.

Let us know what you decide to do and your progress. Good luck!

I am in full agreement with Eddie. Get as much done with Alex and then finish off with electrolysis. As Eddie said, shop around but don’t be fooled by a good price and end up with poor quality. I recently had a treatment that lasted about 30 minutes. She treated both arms, chest, belly and full pubic area. It was quick but she did a terrible job and missed a lot of spots as she hurried along. So don’t go by price alone.
