I would like to hear others’ experiences with Brazilian or regular bikini laser hair removal. What is the shedding process like? Do I have to tug at the hairs to get them to come out or does it happen naturally? I still shave nearly everyday, because I like it to be “clean” down there. Does shaving everyday affect the shedding process? Should I let it grow out to see how effective it was? How many treatments does it typically take for Brazilian? Any info you can provide would be really helpful. Thank you.
it will take 6-8 treatments. you can pull the hair out if they slide out easily, otherwise you can exfoliate etc, scrub gently in the shower to help the hair out. if you don’t shave, it makes it easier for hair to shed and you’ll be able to see better what fell out.

Where is the Mature forum? I am getting ready for my first Brazilian LHR treatment in 2 weeks, and I am a bit of a big chicken when it comes to baring it all in front of strangers. I would like to find out more about how they…um …get to those hard to reach areas? I am a female type II with very dark hair/light skin.

I stopped waxing because the ingrown situation became so uncomfortable. I am now considering either laser or waxing and this is why I am here; doing research.
if you have light skin and dark coarse hair, laser works well on this area granted you do your researching by reading the FAQs and through the LHR forum here to figure out how to find the best clinic with the best machine for you.
