Book reccomendations + Sources

Hey there,

so far I’ve read

  • “The Blend Method” - Michael Bono
  • “Short Blend Guide” - Michael Bono
  • “Electrology Handbook” - Florida Medical College (read only partly)
  • “The healing skin” “Hinkels Lectures” - Electrology Now | Michael Bono
  • Assorted videos on common questions - Electrology Now

do you have any more reccommendations? (will be doing Blend in the face with the Apilus Junior Plus) Richard and Merhargs? Giors “Modern Electrolysis”? Pdf sources would be much appreciated

I think I might offer monetary compensation if I could ask a professional questions regularly as I am still quite new and apart from self study there are little resources I can draw upon.

I would be scouring Josefa Reina’s channel on youtube as well s electrology now. In some places you can still fiind web copies of Hinkels Electrolysis thermolysis and the Blend . The Richards and Megarg text is also getting hard to get. If you can get a hold of a physical copy of the Hinkel Text do so but they are becoming harder to find. Back in the day I got some good skin structural information from Milady’s hair Removal Techniques: Milady's Hair Removal Techniques: A Comprehensive Manual: Bickmore, Helen: 9781401815554: Books - Amazon.ca. A few of the chapters of Hinkel;s text were rewitten by Michael Bono before he died and are at the electrologynow.com website. I’m supposed to be continuing the effort but I have been delayed, and likely wont get to it until I retire, which could be earlier than many think. If you really want to go down the DIY rabbithole search hairtell for a thread called " Seeing the forest for the trees" I think along those lines is what I called it. Some of Jesefa’s stuff you need to search through her channel to find, stuff like ingrown hair extraction, or doing a bubble test or egg white test. You can also search for youtube contributions by Geri Payantonova , an excellent electrologist who shows her work.

Ah yeah, I found Josefa Reina too. Not yet found Geri Payantonova yet, thanks for that and the Seeing the forest post  Would you suggest still reading Hinkel, if it’s in revision? I got my hands on a bit more Material, I will be reading in the order Hinkel → Milady’s → Fino Gior (“Modern Electrology”), and then Merharg if I find a copy of that. (I’m a paranoid bitch I’m reading everything I can get my hands on)
