I found a few guys on CraigsList that offer body shaving and am going to try it soon. I know that most of us do our own shaving or have our significant other help us along. For me, I’d rather not ask my wife to shave my back I guess… So, I do it myself and there really is NO way to make it easy.

Thus, I can get a full body shaving (yes, everything) for $25. I am curious about whether any other members here have obtained this type of service and what their experiences were. Also, what cautions should I make in advance? The primary issue I think is to use a new razor, but is there anything else to be concerned about?

Be careful, in a lot of places “body shaving” is synonymous with “Escort services” or prostitution. Not saying that’s the case, but just something to think about.

Well, I took the risk and tried it! I agreed to get a body shave for $25 locally and met the guy at his place and got the full treatment. First, we reviewed what areas I wished to have shaved and/or trimmed – for me, this was shaving on my shoulders, full back, sides, underarms, buttocks, and full braz. He had no problem and certainly made me confortable. I had to give up on any semblance of modesty on my elbows and knees to help him reach every spot. He trims first, I showered off to get rid of the hair, and then he follows up with a wet shave using a razor. Then, ummm, it seems that you are correct about the extra services… I suppose it’s not for everybody, but I hate shaving my back even with the right tools, so this service is an alternative and so I’ll try it again…
