Male body sculpting
The fellow in this photo had extensive frontal (chest, stomach) hair. As with all male patients, I removed the pattern in the reverse order, i.e., reverse the male chest pattern development. I never go “top to bottom” because he could change his mind or, maybe, I wouldn’t be available. The simple motto: “If he had to stop, will he look normal?”
What you see in this photo is 24 hours after a 1-hour clearing on his right side. On the left (looking angry) is immediately after a 45-minute treatment. The area looks wet because I put on Hibiclens directly after. I’m not finished.
The central pattern will be feathered to look natural. In this case, the patient needs to have some chest (and stomach) hair, but in the right areas to maximize his musculature. I used high body technic with progressive epilation (two-handed) and the hairs epilated in about 1 to 1.5 seconds. (Yes, at that level I am pretty much doing thermolysis — even though the DC is “going along for the ride.”)
(We are going to have some fun with this patient. I have permission to show his photos. He is a movie actor and will be starting a big production in 3 - 4 months. I’m going to give him the “perfectly sculpted” beard — I hope it becomes his trademark. The movie is sort of a “kid’s movie” (yuck) but it’s going to be in high definition I max so I am being extra careful! I’m using tapered needles and will try Laurier when I finally get some — I ordered from Texas.)
