Hi, Today I saw a client who has been having LHR done for 1 year on her cheekbones and down the side of her face. Her skin has changed to a bluey green tinge where she has been treated.
Can anyone please expalin what this is that laser has done to her face, because the technician that has been treating her could not explain it. It does not look like pigmentation.
This is the first I have heard of anything like this happening. This should be reported to a dermatologist and pictures should be taken.
What is your client’s ethnicity and what laser has she been treated with? Laser doesn’t cause this. It can cause pigmentation issues, but you’re saying that’s not it. Do you have photos by any chance?
I have a feeling there are other factors involved here. I would ask her about medication she’s taking, her skin care routine, etc.
Hi, The client will be coming in next week to start electrolysis treatment. I will ask if i can take photos.
She is on no medication.
I will PM the photos to you.
Sorry guys I sent a post previous to the one I sent at 3:56pm for some funny reason it did not post.
Anyway the post said this.
S.Tehfe I have a lady who sounds like she has had the same thing happen to her as well. She has that bluey green tinge on her face, she said she never had it,only when she started doing laser. She will be starting electrolysis next week.
milli,
Can you find out the name of the light-based system that was used and if your client went to the same place that S.Tehfe’s client went to. This bluey-greeny thingy has never been reported on hairtell.
Hi Dee, I will get the details when the client comes in next week.
Thanks milli. That would be helpful.
