Blotchy red marks after electrolysis???

Hi,

I have just started electrolysis; I’ve had two sessions totaling 1hr on my chin area. The reaction is far better than I imagined it would be; redness which subsides after an hour and a few whiteheads and the odd postule. The only thing I have noticed which doesn’t subside as quickly is a reddish-blotchy colouring on the treated skin; similar to the sort of mark left on the skin after a spot has cleared but which takes a few weeks to go away. The blotchy red colour is still on my skin even after three/four days.

-Is this considered to be hyperpigmentation?
-And is this a normal side-effect?
-Is this temporary or permanent? ,and
-Is there anything I can do to help the skin heal these marks?

Really appreciate any responses. Thx

A picture would be helpful.

My blind answer would be that it is normal healing and that my advice for either speeding the disappearance of that manifestation is Tea Tree Oil overnight, and Aloe Vera Gel during the day (fresh that needs to be refridgerated after opening, or better yet, straight from the plant).

Hi,
I will post a pic tomorrow. My usb/camera connection isn’t working. Thanks for the help.

Is it ok if I send you the two images of my face instead because I dont have a way of putting them up. Thanks
