I’m sorry, but still after reading this forum for many months now, I still didn’t get the difference between the blend and thermolysis methods…
Dee often says that blend woul be better for coarse hairs… Could you explain again the difference and efficiency of these 2 methods please?
I know it may sound silly, but I still don’t understand it very well…In fact, any electrologist is performing the blend method here in France, so I asked it once, and she just pulled on another button…
I’ve red once that with the blend method, I should hold on to something wet while being treated…is that true?
Because when I asked to try that method, she didn’t ask me to do so, and I really don’t see any difference as far the regrowth is concerned…
Could you explain how would I know that I am getting the TRUE BLEND METHOD??
Also, is the following statement true??: “With electrolysis, look for someone who does the blend method.Thermolysis only will take you many more times to get to where the hair will not come back. Thermolysis will clear more hairs per treatment, but you will need more treatments.”
Thank you very much for your responses! Again, this site is more than helpfull!!
Salut
Both methods work in good hands. Blend is sometimes necessary for deep curly hairs. But for the majority of hair, thermolysis is just as effective and faster.
Yes, you should be holding something if it’s truly a blend method. So it doesn’t sound like that’s what you’re getting. Can you ask for the name of the machine she uses or look on the machine to see what it’s called?
Hi James, I think we share a friend, Fran and his wife. They have spoken very highly of you so we have two common characteristics: we have passion for electrolysis and our friendship with these great persons. Best wishes
I will keep FranTeruel’s nick names a secret for just those of us who know them Of course, you can call me Seven, or you can call me King James, or you can call me King James The Seventh, or you can call me JW, or you can call me JWW7, but you doesn’t have to call me Walker (Come on, how many people know that 70’s gag? For those who don’t know, the guy would say, "Oh, you can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay, or you can call me R.J. or you can call me R.J.J. or you can call me R.J. Junior, but you doesn’t have to call me Johnson.)
