Blend Electrolysis while on Isotretinoin

Hello,

my girlfriend is having electrolysis for 6 month now and she began to take Isotretinoin 3 months ago. She is having electrolysis axillary, bikini, legs (no facial treatment). I recently read that electrolysis is not recommended while on ISO, what do you think? Her skin is not dry or red, so do you think there could be problems (there are no problems at the moment)?

Next question: Till now, she had complete axillary blend electrolysis about 12 times (2 to 3 weeks interval) and there are still more than 50% of the hairs left. Do you think there is something wrong? My girlfriend says that electrolysis does absolutely not hurt in all areas (genital, too) - do you think the electrologists settings are to low? The electrologist does release the current for 2 to 3 seconds.

thanks in advance

12 times with intervals of 2 to 3 weeks, this means 6 to 8 months of treatment? on this time 90% of the hairs should be able to have been treated, that is, at this point your girlfriend should have only 10% of the axillary hair.

She really shouldn’t be getting electrolysis until 6 months after stopping isotrentinoin.

How old is your girlfriend?

She is 27. What can happen if she is having further electrolysis treatments? She is doing it for 3 months while on ISO with no problems. So why and when could problems arise?
