You need an ND:Yag laser like GentleYAG, Coolglide, Apogee Elite, Sciton, or GentleMAX and someone who knows what they’re doing when it comes to male faces. They need to have experience treating beards specifically. To avoid patchiness, they have to use good settings and overlap properly, as well as do touchups on any hair that doesn’t shed within 3 weeks.

i cant use photo bucket but if u google these biracial celbritys they have the same beard as me and same skin colour .

how do i find an expert with all these cridentials in london .and will my beard remain but notso dense

ps im a complete noob with pcs so cant post links

Run a search here for “London”. There are several regular users on this forum who are from there and have recommended and discussed clinics here in the past. Use Advanced Search at the top right and expand to 1-2 years.

ok thanks ive useed the advanced search it finds 0 results for london.and did you look at the names i listed

You’re doing the search incorrectly. Dozens of pages come up if you do it right. You have to change the Date Range to at least 1 YEAR when you search. Click “Advanced Search”, then type in “London”, THEN change the DATE RANGE to “1 YEAR” instead of “1 WEEK” which is the default setting.

I don’t see where you listed anything.

google tony parker basketball player in images thats what i look like so u get an idea of my beard and skin colour

I know who all those celebrities are. I don’t need to google them. I already provided you with information on the type of laser you need for your skin type. Now, you need to do the research to find a good clinic near you that has one.

thanks i looked at a few benji boy posts.anyway does the gentlelase yag target each hair individually .because i want my beard thinner not removed completely .i just dont like the black shadow.
oh and thanks for helping
ps my skin get hyperpigmentation easily

Please read our FAQs at the link below. I wrote them and all your questions are already answered in detail. You need to know all those details before you start your search for a clinic.

GentleLASE is an alexandrite. GentleYAG is a YAG. GentleMAX is a combination machine of both.

No, lasers have a handpiece of a certain size and the area targeted is the size of that handpiece. The handpiece is applied over and over again to cover the entire area treated. A good treatment will involve overlapping to make sure every hair is covered.

Hair grows in phases. You don’t need to remove hair by hair in order to get rid of the shadow. You treat the entire area about 3 times over the course of 6 months for that to happen. The hair basically gets finer and some is removed altogether.

Yag lasers used at correct settings will not cause pigmentation. You should also use sunblock and keep the area as light as possible.
