Bikini wax questions

This will be my first bikini wax in a while. I wax my eyebrows and upper lip on my own, but I figure in more sensitive regions it is better to leave it up to a professional. Most people say that the results can last up to 2-3 weeks, but I am thinking with my rate of hair growth (I wax my upper lip once a week and I have to shave my legs EVERY day)that I should expect to have maybe a week of smoothness at best. Any thoughts or anyone that has similar rate of hair growth as me?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Bet!

In my opinion, you shouldn’t do wax on your face because at long term it will make you wrinkles, so you should do threading. A lot of hair salons do it already and it pushes the hair from the root as well as wax.

For your legs and bikini area you should wax because will give you longer results. When you shave growns faster because your just cutting and with wax your pushing from the root. For me with wax after 1 week starts growing in the bikini area but if i shave starts growing the next day. So, wax is worth it in my opinion.

If you have some extra money you can also do laser treatment in your bikini area. If you meet the requirements will give you even longer results.

Hope this helps you <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Or you could have electrolysis–the permanent solution.
