Hello:

A previous post gave me an idea about looking for a hard to find product “Better Off Hair Remover” I wanted to tell people out there about a product that is getting harder and harder to get and after being without it for more than a year, I found it again.

The product comes in a cream for the facial area and a hot wax for other areas of the body. I have used both products for about 27 years available at the local drug store when one day, it suddenly was no longer available. I then started buying it online and it was not long when the site I was using went out of stock permanently. For the last 15 months I have been without it and have been trying to find a suitable replacement unsuccessfully.

I have finally found a reliable source of supply and I want to write about it in this forum since there must be many others who are in the same predicament. First, I found that there is a person selling it on eBay who says it has been for sale there for about 2 years. Who would have thought of looking for it there?

Thanks for your post, but I was wondering how long the results last? And because it’s wax, it probably makes the hair grow make thinner but is that also the case for the facial cream if I used it on my jawline/neck? I’ve been researching this product and it sounds pretty good. Thanks again!

I actually use the cream on my upper lip once every two weeks. I may be able to go longer, but that is just a habit that I developed. The wax does seem to make the hair come back thinner since the folicles come out too.

Thank you ShoppingGirl for your post and taking the time to let us know about your Better Off find. I have been searching for this product for months and have not been able to find it. I was a little leery about buying it on eBay but the seller’s rating convinced me to give it a try. I received the product in a flash and happy once again.
