I see what you are saying.
2 things that pop in my head:
One, the easiest way is probably to get some certificate and going to work for a year or so at some other place and then you will gain experience for your own place.
The other thing, i don’t know how the business is in Florida in terms of laser hair removal but i can tell you that in Toronto it fell a very steep hill. There are LOTS of deal of the day kind of deals and probably 5-10 new ones for hair removal per week so the business has been far from profitable. IMO those businesses that are doing the deals are likely to lose a lot of money, the customer won’t return to pay full price because they can go else where and unless they have some very deep pockets (hundreds of thousands worth) then they are not going to make it. On the other hand, since there are so many that do it, the clinics that don’t do it are left for dry. My business been on first page of Google for a few years now and in the past 6 months or so the business went down by at least 50%.
When you buy a machine for close to 100 grand, you need lots of paying clients to get your money back, not always easy.
In terms of what’s good to buy, there is no simple answer. Every technology and machine have pros and cons. The biggest con is probably the fact that you can’t treat all kinds of hair.
