Hi. I went to my first electrolysis consultation yesterday. They use the Berkowitz machine and utilize multiple needle thermolysis… I can’t seem to find any opinions/reviews of this machine. Is it one of the better or worse ones? What can I expect from it? Also, the FDA site says this machine is in “Purged Status”— what does that mean?

The Berkowitz Machine is an older machine that is no longer in production. They are state of the art for their time, but that time has past. It is still possible to do great work with one, and I would want to have the flexibility given by something with a computer motherboard and auto-sensor activated multi-sequencing. These are things that did not exist when the Berkowitz was first produced.
