modality smodality. Training shmaining. The machine doesnt matter, nor the modality, nor even the practitioner to an extent, as long as the outcome is the same.
These are all paths to a goal. The goal is a clear face. It does not matter as long as a clear face is the result with no skin damage.
I love the blend. I dont get to work in it very often anymore . I did my whole face in the blend, and left zero marks. Oh sure sometimes I took some chances and experimented a little, but for the most part my long term results are spectacular. No smoking holes. I tended to give lots of treatment ( 15-20 seconds? maybe 8 on upper lip) in order to create lots of heated lye and ensure destruction. I averaged if I was to guess a 95% kill rate. But at what cost?
I can treat up to 6 or 7 times as much hair in thermolysis in the same time frame. If I’m using a tweezerless technique on long hairs, even more due to efficiency. With accurate insertions and sufficient treatment energy my kill rate might be 50%?
But as soon as I try and make the point that blend is slower overall, I’d be dead wrong. Because along would come a fast blend operator with results that show their total treatment time is better or equal to what I can achieve in thermolysis with top efficiency.
With the right training , and technique, either modality wins the race.
As long as you look for the smoothest extraction in the most efficient but thorough manner possible, then you will have good results.
