Hi,

I am looking for get electrolysis done on my chin, neck areas and possibly adbomen and breasts. Any women of Indian origin (sgupta?) or anyone with olive skin with dark hair (am worried about scarring and hyperpigmentation as my skin is prone to blemishes), who have had the procedure done and have good recommendations, if you could please take the time to respond, I would highly appreciate it. LAgirl, James please respond as well.

I had a consultation with Carol Leong in San Mateo and am not sure what to think of her. Any input is much appreciated.

No one can tell you with 100% certainty that you will have no tissue trauma as a result of electrolysis. Skin that produces lots of pigment will produce more pigment when traumatized as melanocyte activity is stimulated.

You can minimize this trauma by using melanocyte suppressants (Rx) or you can find an electrologist who can administer both thermolysis and blend and their various techniques. Then start with a small area in a less conspicuous area of your chin.
