I just had a consultation with an electrologist in Arlington, VA who seemed nice but also does laser and was really pushing that. She was reluctant to do much electrolysis on my face at all because she said it would take forever. I don’t want to do laser at all. She uses coolglide and I looked at some posts about that here and I have decided without a doubt not to do it. In this area, Maryland, Northern Virginia and DC, I have been researching the electrologists and this Barbara Bernstein in Sterling looks very promising. Her hours are a little limited but she seems the most qualified (CPE, CME, LE), is a member of a lot of the organizations, and also does all three modalities. Has anyone here had experience with her? Or could anyone recommend her or another electrologist in the area?
