Back/shoulder hair removal in central PA- Advice?

I’ve been wanting to have laser hair removal on my back and shoulders for over 10 years. I’m now 36 and I’ve noticed some grey chest hairs so I feel that I need to get moving on this before I have grey back hairs which I know would make the laser removal difficult if not impossible.

I have read through this forum (thanks by the way!) and hope someone can provide some guidance or advice given my info and pictures provided below.

I live in Central Pennsylvania (30 minutes south of Harrisburg). I’ve found two places in my area that I’m interested in using for the treatment…

Here is one option (he uses the GentleLASE laser)
And here is another option (they use the LightSheer Diode)

I don’t know anything about these places other than the type of laser used and the info on their sites. I doubt anyone here has any knowledge of these places but does anyone have an opinion based on their sites? Does anyone know of alternatives in my area?

Here are two pictures of my back:

Picture 2 (close-up)

I have light untanned skin and dark brown hair.

I know there are differences in the GentleLASE and Lightsheer lasers. I haven’t called for consulations yet (and yes, I’ve read the questions to ask) and I don’t know how much each place I mentioned previously charges.

Any advice or guidance would be GREATLY appreciated!

When I make a decision and move forward I will provide updates of my experience with pictures.

THANKS!
Colin

Your hair is coarse in most places, but finer in some places. I would try to go for GentleLASE is you can find a clinic that you trust. The best way to do that is learn all you can first about LHR so you can ask intelligent questions and are able to judge their knowledge.

Try going to Candela Corporation’s website and doing a provider search to find more places with GentleLASE. There are a bunch in PA. There is a recent post from someone in PA who found a good place: http://cosmeticenhancementsforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6591&start=45

if you run a search on that forum, there are others in PA I believe. If you google, I think there is a place near Allentown that’s good. not sure if that’s too far.

p.s. i would avoid lasering any of the fine sparse hairs around the areas with dense growth and finish those with electrolysis instead later.
