Back laser growth help!

I am of indian origin, and I had laser removal on my back 6 sessions, with the soprano ice and it stimulated hair growth.

my back was never to hairy and I had area with a bit of bushy hair, the rest of the areas was hair free. but now lasering has caused hair to go everywhere on my back.

I went to another hair removal place and they said I should only be using a ND YAG laser, and where at the other place they must have used the wrong settings on me which must have stimulated growth.

so should I continue laser with the nd yag laser or just stop all together, I don’t want my back getting any worse? will doing laser again remove the new hair that has grown?

thanks

Did you take photos of your back before the laser treatments?

Im afraid i didnt take no before pics. I didnt even think this was possible was never explained to me.

Is carrying on with laser a good idea at this different clinic using the nd yag to get rid of the new growth which is dark hair

There are no laser treatment experts on Hairtell, only consumers with their experiences. Do your homework and seek out dermatologist or laser clinics with reputation and experience dealing with laser stimulated hair growth.

The cautionary answers from Hairtell community would be to stop with laser and switch to electrology. But be very prepared to spend many thousands of dollars and 2+ years on electrology.

Yes, you need a YAG laser for your skin color. Yes, laser “wakes up hair follicles” on a man’s back, shoulders and upper arms for many cases. Some laser specialists recommend that the hair that has been stimulated be treated, however, if the hair structure is too thin, to light and too sparse, it is unlikely that the hair will be affected and then THAT is when you have to switch to electrolysis.

It should be mandatory that laser centers warn clients about laser hair stimulation so they can make an informed decision before they start. This happens so some? / many? and the stimulated areas are usually men’s back, shoulders, upper arms and women’s faces and necks. so, consumer BEWARE before you leap.

Icing the area after laser, seems to help with laser hair stimulation, so I have heard.
