Hello, i got a lot hair on my back as i noticed, they arent too coarse but they are annoying. Are they thick enough for laser removal? or would you suggest me something else? thanks for advice. Picture included.
this hair is fine, not thick at all! and also not dark enough.
your only permanent option would be electrolysis.
Are you Indian?
I see some red bumps on your back. What are they? Folliculitis?
And the answer to your question is yes, your hair is VERY fine to be laser-ed effectively. Electrolysis is the way to go.
Nope im not indian, im from Slovakia. I dont know if they are folliculitis. Wouldnt be electrolysis too expensive for that amount of hair?
Well, it will be cheaper than wasted money on failed Laser treatments.
Sometimes people show photos that are borderline.
Your hair is light brown and fine, not suitable at all.
Thanks for responds, so you would suggest me electrolysis? or its not worth it and should i stick with shaving/waxing? Thanks.
That hair is way too fine and sparse for any effective laser treatment.
If you are looking for permanent hair removal then electrolysis is the best option in your case. Whether electrolysis is worth it or not is up to you to decide. Do you want to invest the $$$$ and 12-18 months to get permanent results from electrolysis or are you happy/satisfied with shaving/waxing process? Only you can answer that. But looking at your photo and seeing how sparse the hair is, I can take a blind guess that electrolysis would be “faster” and cost about the same as an average laser treatment package for full back in some clinics. If you had dense hair growth on full back, then electrolysis would be very expensive and exceed cost of laser.
If those bumps are caused by shaving/waxing, then you should seriously consider electrolysis. Otherwise, shaving and waxing are also cool.
i would like to ask about waxing back aswell. I contacted several people working with this stuff, and they seem to disagree on how waxing infleuences body hair. Some says it starts grow thicker, some says finer and with regular waxing\sugaring weezing more sparse. Anyone knows how hair on male back would behave? Thanks
Hello, im writing again, i was thinking about electrolysis, but considering i have really high density of finer hair on my back, like 10-15 hairs/sqare cm, electrolysis would take insane amount of time and money. does anyone know which laser is better for skin type 3-4, with finer but dark hairs? LightSheer or Candela GentleLase? Thanks.
For fine hair - GentleLase
For skin type 4 - Lightsheer
For fine hair on skin type 4 - Neither
I doubt if electrolysis would cost you ‘insane’ amount of time and money. I think you should post your pictures in the electrolysis forum.
