Hi, i wanted to understand the thing with automode.
Why does electrologist work with a footpadle if they have the automode?
if I understood correctly this auto mode sense the insertion of the needle and only then starts the delay time and then the flash is on,and while the needle is not inserted the auto mode stops the cycle until the next insertion.
So if it is that simple, why not all electrologists use it?
what is the tricky thing about that?
It is called “timing”.
the autosensor senses contact, and counts down to the pre-set count down time. One must time the insertion so that the probe/needle is in the correct place at the end of the countdown time. Many feel that it is easier to tap the foot pedal when the probe is in place, instead of trying to finesse this co-ordination of synchronized movement.
