run a search for this machine. it’s an IPL and is not that great. tan means they have to use low settings. the price is ok, but i wouldn’t spend any money on treatments that are not very effective. if you’re going to do it, i say do it right with the best machine and best clinic. what color is your hair? are you just treating your forearms? are you female? did you pay for a package or just for one treatment?
Im male. Wanted my chest and stomach done too. There true rate is $200 an area be it an arm or chest or stomach. I got half rate to test it out. My hair is pretty dark and coarse. I didnt purchase a package as I wanted to make sure I like what I see.
Alexandrite seems to be the best for me based on the FAQ is that true?
Alexanderlite is good for people with coarse dark hair, however, you have to be careful with skin pigmentation, as this laser specifically targets darker pigment, be it pigment in the hair or pigment in the skin, possibly resulting in hyperpigmentation etc. The paler the skin and the darker the hair the better.
Find a good clinic (easier said than done I know) and talk to them about what can be done, if you are suitable for Alexanderlite I’d say go for it. Iv’e been having treatments with a GentleLaser Alexanderlite and been doing great (although I am a cross between Skin Type II and III).
But in the mean time, I’d wear some some sun block to prevent any further tanning (usually SPF30 is sufficiant), until you know whether your suitable for it or not.
