Astaxanthin (Internal Sunblock!)

Astaxanthin is a fat-soluble antioxidant; an orange-like Carotenoid, in the same family bracket as Beta-Carotene (Vitamin A). It’s a potent antioxidant that gives e.g., Flamingos, salmon, that orange-like pigment. It’s known in peer reviews and science journals as the strongest antioxidant known. I was curious if one should avoid taking Vitamin A and/or Astaxanthin (Algae) supplements during LHR treatments. There’s a lot of feedback from folks who swear by it as an internal sunblock.

The point of this discussion is whether, Astaxanthin and like-Carotenoids, can hinder Laser Hair removal treatments since it blocks UV Rays. I really want to take Astaxanthin, because of all its purported benefits (apparently 500 times stronger than Vitamin E!) but I’m not sure…
