Electrolysis will set you free from those hairs, but you won’t be done in 6 or 7 session. Mother Nature dictates when you are finishing. We have to get through hair coming in waves at a time. You can’t control that and your electrologist can’t control that.
The best thing is to do is to get all the hair cleared off as fast as possible. This means longer appointments, closer together. Once this hurdle is jumped, then you return when the next wave of NEW hair comes to the surface which could be about two - three weeks from when the first hair was stripped from the areas. Keep going until there is no hair left to get. Fastest you can expect results is 9-12 months if you put in the time up front.
How long questions can’t be answered accurately because we all have our unique hair situations with many variables involved. I can’t see your hair pattern or structure, but an electrologist in your locale can and if she/he feels comfortable making predictions about how long and and how much questions then that would be helpful for you. I advise you to seek out as many consultations as possible AFTER you READ HAIRFACTS AND HAIRTELL. You will be on sturdy ground if you study and learn all you can about the process. This keeps our expectations real and keeps us patient in order to reach a very happy ending.
Save more money if necessary as you can’t go into this with the attitude that money rules the end results. This ticks electrologists off if people pressure them to do this by a certain time within a certain budget.
With that said, from what you described, you should most probably start out with 2 hour sessions (if your electrologist will do this amount of time)until you are cleared. More time up front would make things go faster, of course. Microflash or flash thermolysis would speed up the process, but if someone does blend electrolysis only, you are still getting permanent hair removal.
You do not sound like a difficult case and your expectations are for reduction. The most important thing is to find an electrologist that is skilled and is willing and able to give you longer times up front.
