On wednesday I am going for a patch test at a clinic called Renew Medica. I’d already had a consultation there when I was researching clinics, but I then got a job abroad for a year so had to put my plan for laser on hold.
I have type III skin (actually leaning more towards type II, but with some underlying pigment). I want my underarms done; my hair there is coarse and dark. When I went for my consultation last year, the technician said she’d use an Apogee alexandrite laser for me, typically 20-25j at 15mm spot size. How do these settings sound?
I am pretty concerned about the fact that many clinics use low settings to make their clients pay for more treatments than are necessary, and I don’t want that to happen to me! I thought I would pay for one treatment first, and then if I’m satisfied, I can get a package of 6. I will also post a review after the treatment as quite a few people on this forum seem to be looking for good clinics in the London area
