I clicked on the link for facial hair removal to see what they said, and they say electrolysis is not permanent! This is a total contradiction to everything I have read and makes me question what else they are being dishonest about!

That should serve as a warning not to believe everything you read.
They are probably seizing on the fact that a hair follicle that has been treated once with electrolysis may actually grow a hair again. So technically based on that one treatment, you could say electrolysis is not permanent. They conveniently ignore the fact that if it is treated again the results will usually be permanent.
