Apilus Senior II - Manual

Hello,

I think I got an ok deal and bought a Apilus Senior II via craigslist. First for my gf to experiment on me as a hairy guinea-pig and then to learn the trade professionally and open a tiny salon.

But as it is with deals sometimes stuff is missing, in that case the manual. I wanted to ask the professionals in here if someone has either a (physical) left-over manual or a scan of the booklet. I will of course reimburse for the trouble via paypal!

For us as total amateurs this is more important than for seasoned pros who just fire the machine up…

Thank you for your time,
Fox

I was missing my manual for my Sm-500 too when I got the machine. If you call dectro they can send you one. It’s only I think $10 or so plus the minimum shipping ( 10.50 here in Canada). If you ar missing other items it’s good to combine shipping.Senior II is an awesome machine! happy learning.

I will say this as experience with mine, when doing thermolysis, watch your settings if using multiplex. I found matching the multiplex settings in flash mode makes the timing a lot better, otherwise there is about 1 second delay on treatment delivery. I was reminded of this yesterday, when I did a short stint in thermolysis after not doing so for a while.

Oh that is a good idea too  If no one here has the manual I can have them send it to California! On a side-note, if anyone has a link to good training videos for amateurs that’d be much appreciated. Even better of course if they are specific for Apilus machines or the Senior II especially. Thanks everyone

Be warned that the machine’s manual isn’t a how-to manual on electrolysis, but simply a brief rundown of what buttons do what on the machine. The one with my senior 3G spends all of 10 pages talking about the electrolysis modes on the machine compared to 6 on the built in billing system. If that’s all you’re looking to get out of the manual, it’s fine… but if you’re looking for knowledge on doing procedures, you’ll want one of the electrolysis textbooks out there or feel free to read in depth on here and ask questions - we try to be helpful.

If you’re in California, be careful of what you’re doing since it’s a licensed state.

I bought the machine here, I’ll take it with me to Bulgaria in five weeks, luckily no license is needed there. Downside is it’s difficult to come by standard material.

The basic rundown is fine already, I’m still hoping to find some instructional videos in youtube since they don’t offer any classes in bulgaria

I will say, that the manual for these things is of very limited use. At best you will get the chart for the preset numbers. Pretty much everything else is useless.

Dectro sent it to me as PDF, here for the other users in need: http://www.megafileupload.com/a33p/mu_senior_II_6080-0000325_11en_web.pdf … if anyone knows a more permanent upload service feel free to put it there and post the link

I use dropbox for photo and file management. Works pretty well, synchs my files across my many devices ( like cell tablet, computer) and all I have to do to publish a file is drop it into the my dropbox/public folder and it becomes available on the wb a vew minutes later when I put up a link.

Hi,
The link for the manual doesn’t work anymore. Hairy Fox could you send me the files by Dropbox please ? Or with an other way ? It will help me

Unfortunately MegaFileUpload no longer exists, could someone please reupload this manual elsewhere, or provide instructions on how to get/order it.

I recently purchased this exact same machine, but I am missing this manual. Unfortunately I do not see it anywhere in the Dectro website or the Dectro online shop.

Thanks.
