I couldn’t find the answer to this in my Apilus manual, so I thought I would ask it here.
Is the HF power output 0-99% consistent throughout the Apilus line? (say, from 1% = 1 “watt” and 99% = 99 “watts” on all machines?) My SM-500 and a friend’s Apilus Jr. seem to have the same power output, since I tried a given % and timing on the same hair and got the same results. Would this be true of the Platinum as well? I assume it has even more power in that 0-99% range?
Also does the power from 0-99% stay the same regardless of the timing? Working on 40-60 lye unit size hairs, I have my machine set at 0.064sec HF 94% 5 pulses, so I am technically doing flash (1/100th of a second)? So if I set the machine at 0.006sec the actual power output stays the same, or does it increase by 10? I am so confused :crazy:
