Which would be more gentle on the skin? One lady I talked to uses the Platinum and a foot pedal and is very high speed. Another I will be talking to uses
the Apilus Senior II which is multipulse and the way I understood it, is that
it pulses each hair several times based on whatever the rod sensor senses and it sounds much slower.
Does anyone know which is gentler on the skin?

Platinum allows for various settings to be used, pico flash(which you seem to be getting) dual pulse, multi-plex, blend, omi blend. Platinum is an upgrade from the senior, and has a few more choices. Discuss any concerns with your electrologist as she will be able to adjust the settings. One other thing, treatment is not just about the machine, first and foremost it is the skill of the electrologist.
