I was just wondering if anyone knows of an experienced electrolysis’s in Florida that use the Apilus machine?
I heard it is the best machine for fast and effective permanent hair removal but yet it is so hard for me to find an electrolysis in Florida that is somewhat close to me that utilizes it?
I am currently going for electrolysis with a lady who seems to know what she is doing? she is CPE certified. but she uses an old school machine. I think its like 20 something years old? its an ultra blend idk if its that good of a machine or not?
treatments are bearable but kind of painful and i have redness and sometimes little white pimples “which i think is normal?” for the next 2 days with the machine she use’s.But i heard Apilus machine is awesome for less pain and less redness after treatment? so idk if i should just stick with my current electrolysis or try to find someone who utilizes the Apilus machine?
I just want to find an electrolysis with the best technology and experience so i can get results i am looking for as fast as possible!
If anyone has any information on electrolysis in florida that uses this machine that would be great!
I am located in south Florida in the treasure coast area.
thanks so much!
The most important thing is that the treatment is being performed correctly and without any major side effects. Some redness and healing is fine for a few days. Some scabs that fall off within a week are normal on some areas sometimes.
What type of electrolysis does your electrologist use? Apilus is primarily good because it does thermolysis and the faster version microflash. But there are other machines that do thermolysis, which work as well. And there is a machine doing picoflash, which is great too.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt to test out a few electrologists and pick from there. You can’t tell if someone is good without comparing treatments.
I would simply recommend using Google and calling up the electrologists in your area to see what they use. Then go for free consultations and test spots.
Judy Adams is in St Augustine, but that’s probably too far from you. I’m sure there are other people closer to you.
If you do want to commute farther away, you can do this by going in once every 4 weeks or so. It’s fine as long as you get a full clearance each time, which means longer treatments.
She use’s the blend method which is supposed to be very effective especially for dark course hair which i have cause i am a male! She does my upper cheeks, sides of my neck, and front of my neck.
Thermolysis is effective, too. Both modalities have to be done correctly. Many electrologists do whatever they are comfortable with, which is fine, but it is always wise to know how to do ALL electrolysis modalities comfortably well for whatever the situation calls for.
Yeah St. Augustine is just too far for me.
If you know anyone else in the south Florida that has experience with apilus machine that would be great cause I looked everywhere and can’t find anyone even kind of close
Is there any other machines that are just as good? There is a lady in my area that uses a Fischer epilator? Idk if that has some kind of comparison to the apilus? shes also is not CPE certified only CME so I don’t know if the experience is there especially for me cause I’m a male?
The Electrologist I go to now is cpe certified her machine is just old school! It’s the clareblend ultrablend and she says she had it for like 20 years old. I just wish she had something more of the new age technology:(
