Sorry I should have made my post clearer Dee! I’m addressing non-electrologist in the UK that have built there own machine, and are successfully treating themselves.

That is quite a narrow focus. I hope a few lurkers are moved to become posters to answer your question.
Of course, if they are as silent as I expect, you could check the DIY section for lots of stories of people who have done just that, especially the poster known as NoHair. He has given lots and lots of information about having removed all the hair from his body.
