Any tips for "peach fuzz"?

I just started getting electrolysis. A lot of the hair I am having worked on is light blonde. I know it is harder for my electrologist to see. She recommended shaving the area (which has never been removed) or trimming the hairs. I don’t feel comfortable shaving the area. Will trimming really cut back on time? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
-the hair is located on my cheeks

Also, I have noticed that I’m getting a few black spots in the areas where she worked on. They kind of look like black heads, is this normal? Or is this a dead part of the sheaf or follicle?

oooooooooohhhh… Uuuummmmm… I hate to disagree with your electrologist, but I would not want you to shave those hairs. Did she explain why shaving would be advantageous for her? The black spots? Your hairs are fine, blond hairs, right? Not sure why there would be black root sheaths? What does our practitioner think about the spots?

She said that it would help her go faster, because there are so many blond hair that they overlay. But, she didn’t stress it, she said she can still work on them without any shaving or trimming, but was just putting her input. As for the black spots, I just noticed them today. They were found in the side burn area where my hair was dark. I think I found two, I’m not even sure if they have anything to do with electrolysis, or are truly just black heads.

Okay, two black spots, no big deal. Your fine. It could be root sheaths?

If you clip the hairs, that would be better than shaving them. You might need a buddy to help you with that or maybe she would offer to do it for you. I know what she is dealing with. Copius amounts of peachy hairs looks like a tangled jungle., so trimming can help her go faster.

The two black spots were very tiny, pin point sort of looking things.

What I am worried about with the trimming, is that I will have stubble all over my face. Will trimming the hairs make it a lot faster?

Also, this past session I’ve noticed a little bit more skin irritation. Nothing I’m really concerned about, just a bit more swelling and bumps. Is this okay? The session was 60 minutes on Thursday, the irritation is mainly on the neck area. Like I said, nothing major, just need some reassurance.
